- SMS Program Description
Sleep & CPAP Center provides non-marketing text messages to patients who have expressly agreed to receive them. Messages may include appointment confirmations, appointment reminders, final confirmation notices, scheduling follow-up, and responses to confirmation, cancellation, change, callback, or help requests.
- Consent
Patients may opt in verbally during intake or appointment scheduling. By opting in, the patient authorizes Sleep & CPAP Center to send appointment-related text messages to the mobile number provided.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of treatment or purchase.
- Message Frequency and Charges
Message frequency varies depending on appointment activity and patient responses. Message and data rates may apply according to the patient’s mobile carrier and service plan.
- Opting Out and Getting Help
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. After opting out, the patient will receive a final confirmation that no additional messages will be sent unless the patient opts in again.
